The quality of our meat reflects the diets and livelihoods our flocks enjoy.
Our lamb is a native breed Lleyn originating from the Llŷn peninsula in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. They are 100% grass fed on our flora rich Leicestershire pastures, free from herbicides and fertilizers. This particular breed has the ideal meat to fat ratio and ensures we end up with top quality, succulent meat.
Pasture raised lamb is not only good for soil health and biodiversity, it is also better for the animals as they are happier and live longer. Being 100% grass fed means they take longer to mature and produce a meat with great flavour and texture.
We have raised our lamb to a maturity of 6-12 months. Hung for 14 days.
