Fosse Meadows is working with local farmers to bring you 100% grass fed beef from native breeds. We only work with farmers who have the same high standards of natural farming, ethics and animal welfare as we do.
Rearing cattle on a grass fed diet takes longer and costs more, but we believe in the benefits of this ethical, sustainable and traditional farming method.
Our butchers have traditionally dry-aged our beef on the bone for 30 days to enhance the texture of the meat and intensify its rich, deep flavour.

Fosse Meadows ia keen to embrace regenerative farming – a compassionate approach that mimics natural cycles and gives back more to the land than it takes. We prioritise sourcing beef from farms that adopt regenerative farming practices, including holistic land management and rotational grazing techniques. This type of land management encourages diverse plant growth, sequesters carbon, improves soil health, boosts biodiversity, and allows animals to live and roam naturally. When necessary, we supplement our regenerative beef with high-welfare, grass-fed native breed beef from farms and cooperatives transitioning towards regenerative agriculture to support them through this process.
